Ice, Ice, Baby
The Belfast Garden Club is hosting an ice-dyeing project during the Ice Festival on Saturday February 22nd at 3- 5pm at the Alden House. If all goes well, the colorful ice-dyed tablecloths, like the ones shown here that Kayleen made, will be used at the Plant Sale in May, and for years to come. Even though we plan to use the garage, please dress warmly! It might get a bit messy too so probably best to wear dark clothes or ones you don’t mind getting dye on. Gardeners ready to refresh their landscapes will find more than 1,000 plants to choose from at the Belfast Garden Club’s annual plant sale Memorial Day Weekend.

It’s time for gardeners and gardening-adjacent folks to get ready for the plant sale of the year: the Belfast Garden Club sale, scheduled for Saturday, May 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Steamboat Landing and the Belfast Boathouse, 34 Commercial St.
