The Annual Plant Sale

The annual plant sale happens on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend each year on the grounds of the Belfast Boathouse. The garden club’s biggest fundraiser, the plant sale features hundreds of native plants, annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, shrubs, and trees–all ready to add to your garden. Inside the Boathouse, you’ll find a selection of houseplants. There’s always an array of garden-related goods to be had at great discounts, including planters, flowerpots, garden tools, garden books, and decor items donated by garden club members.

The 2025 Belfast Garden Club Annual Plant Sale happens from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, May 24. Rain date is May 25. Come early and bring a hand-basket, a wheelbarrow, a wagon, or a willing partner to hold your haul. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
