Year 2 and Still The People’s Choice

Piloted by Belfast Garden Club members Paula Smith and Christine Monroe, the BGC Hydroponics sped to victory as The People’s Choice–and near victory– in Belfast’s 2023 cardboard boat challenge on Sunday.

BGC Hydroponics won its class, then succumbed in the runoffs.

Built in 2022 by a large crew of Belfast Garden Club members, BGC Hydroponics won The People’s Choice last year as well.

Both the boat and its pilots are doing well and expecting total victory next year.
