Every year, area gardeners begin lining up well in advance of the 10:00 a.m. start time, hoping to zero in on the best of the season’s offerings at the Belfast Garden Club’s Annual Plant Sale. This year was no exception, though those waiting in line, certainly didn’t expect to be welcomed with freshly baked goodies served up by members of the club. The Ann Mullen Memorial Garden located at Wales Park is thriving. Please stop by, relax on the bench, and check out all the beautiful gardens at Wales Park. The perennials in Ann’s garden were planted last year by Linda Oskamp, Astrid Bowlby and Michele Carrier-Clinch.
